Online Trading Academy (OTA), a leader in online trading and investment education, is responding to the increased need for online classes by ramping up its schedule for creating even more On-Demand trading and investing courses. Online Trading Academy’s On-Demand courses are designed for students who work full-time jobs and need short, concise classes that can fit into their busy schedules. Says Steve Albin, vice president of Education Operations at Online Trading Academy, “We know that people have limited time, and our goal is to ensure that students can learn in a fashion that suits them, rather than force them to adapt to our time and place. COVID has made it clear that every educational organization in the country has been playing catch-up.”
All of OTA’s course offerings are now available online. Says Mike Richardson, the president of Online Trading Academy, “A crisis like a global pandemic truly tests your organization. We have been tested, [and] we are passing the test and… delivering flexibility for our students.”
More than 70,000 students have taken OTA’s classes in its more than 20 years in business. Classes are available during both daytime and evening hours. The company offers a free introductory class so that prospective students can see if they are interested in the classes before enrolling. According to the OTA website, the introductory class covers:
- How to manage risk and navigate volatile markets.
- Common mistakes novice traders and investors make and how to minimize them.
- How to time the market by letting the price come to you.
- A step-by-step, rules-based strategy for trading any asset class in any market.
- How to “buy at wholesale and sell at retail” like financial institutions do.
All of OTA’s classes include instruction from some of the company’s more than 60 qualified instructors, many of them with Wall Street experience. Available courses include OTA’s comprehensive Core Strategy course; a Strategic Investor course; and several specialized courses, including the Stocks Program, the Forex Program, the Futures Program, and the Options Program.
